The sketchbooks are very good quality, comes with a decent amount of pages for your child to draw.

These are a bit flimsy with the soft covers, so I would recommend care if you plan to store them in backpacks or anything, but they're awesome for sketching. Love the paper. I really enjoy the beige color, it IS easier on the eyes and makes the sketches look nicer. :)

I found over the last few years that Ive gone through a whole lot of sketchbooks and I wanted something that had a little bit more space than the standard 5 x 8 sketchbook. Finding these full-size sketchbooks its just an awesome addition to my art supplies. Theyre just under the standard 8 1/2 x 11 notebook paper size, but offer wonderful sketch paper with no lines. I felt they came in at a wonderful price point, and they have a strong cover with spirals that open up perfectly and flip over to give you a nice flat drawing surface Overall, Im very impressed with the sketchbooks and I love that you get the price of what Id pay for one at a big box store. Im so glad I picked up.

The paper is ivory colored, very smooth (almost no tooth) but very nice to draw on and perfect surface for ink. Not thick, as it was described. The covers are about the weight of card stock, not chipboard as described at the top of the listing. Kraft paper, as they describe it later, is more like it. Some of the listing photos might cause confusion, because they show some covers that are cardboard. What you get is not that. There are 38 sheets, as specified. I was disappointed that the paper and covers were thinner than expected, but it will still be useful for sketches, clipped to a drawing board. Nice color and finish on the paper.

Very nice. The paper quality is excellent, perfect for pencil sketches. The cover is some type of supple paper material.
