I use this book/tablet stand for my 10 inch android tablet. It holds up well, when there is absolutely no movement. One table/desk shake, and the stand may push back, therefore making your tablet/book fall. Besides that, I really do like the 3 adjustable modes you can use if you want or different viewpoint. I think for 6 dollars, it'll do.

Love this book stand for reviewing books while typing notes on my laptop. Books remain at a perfect angle (choose from 3 adjustable angles), which helps prevent neck and back fatigue. Pages remain open making it easy to glance back and forth when taking notes. The design accommodates large or small books and the stand reminds me of a cute teddy bear shape when open. The only think that's a little bit annoying is when you turn a page, you have to kind of maneuver the page over and then back under the little black-tipped arms, however not really a big deal.

My father is in his late 70s and he loves to read. A few weeks ago he told me he does his best reading at the kitchen table, but he doesn't like having to hold the book up at the table and he doesn't like it flat on the table. He's been using his laptop open to 45 and facing away from him, and I could foresee him doing something to the laptop. I decided to surprise him with this stand, and he's been using it ever since. Here are his feedback: Pros - it's small and lightweight. If you need to get it out of the way, it folds flat and takes up very little room. He's able to adjust the angle of his books easily. The bar at the bottom that holds the pages is the perfect size to hold a big book, but it doesn't hinder your page turning. All around, it's a simple little device that does exactly what he wants Cons - He doesn't like the color... (I told him that's my fault since I picked it out) I also tried this book stand and it's a good thing to have if you're reading a larger book and you get tired of holding it.

I got this to hold up one of my cookbooks, but unfortunately, its smaller than I expected looking at the photographs, so I cannot have it holding my hardcover cookbooks & its too flimsy for that job. Ill give it two stars because of the very low cost, and potential to help somebody else with much smaller books & expectations, but for me.. its non-usable. I just bought a stable looking, larger, wooden one off ZeeBooth to replace it with. I hope that fits the bill for what I need it for. If its something small & not heavy that you are looking to use this product for.. its ok. For me, Im disappointed . Look at the dimensions prior to purchase.
