Fabulous for a bad back

I ordered 2 of these so I would always have a spare. My back is horrible with a ruptured disc, 3 herniated ones and spinal stenosis. My neck is the same except for the rupture. I love that you can strap these to your waist and have it stay in place. It is also comfortable to lay on it for neck pain. Absolutely recommend these

It fell apart after about a month

Had knee surgery was great at first, could use it when moving around . It fell apart after a month or so the beads inside were coming out of the corners in the fold of plastic !!

Contours to my ankles perfectly, stays in place well

The best thing about this is that it folds/wraps into the contours of the ankle really well. Wide, elastic velcro straps do a solid job of keeping it in place, and the velvety skin-side fabric provides just enough insulation, without compromising the cold therapy it allows through. I have a small broken bone inside my ankle that cant be set, and has never healed (apparently a common injury among basketball players, though I did mine via volleyball), and my ankle swells up visibly sometimes when ive been on my feet a lot. This more specialized ice pack does a much better job than a clunky one-size-fits-all ice pack.

This hot/cold pack is perfect for your knees. Confirms easily to the shape of my knee and stays in place decently well but it will slide around a small amount. Instructions were clear and easy to read. Overall happy with this hot/cold pack

Hot or cold but gel packs are not insert but attached

I've used this both hot and cold for a low back strain. I guess I was expecting to have the gel packs separate from the straps, but they are permanently attached to the belt. The whole thing is a bit bulky but fine when I'm reclining or just hanging around the house. Heat and cold both lasted about a half hour which is the time frame for treating a strain so that was just fine. It did the trick but wasn't perfect
