Every time i go hiking, my little toe hurts during and after the hike. I've tried moleskin and cushioned socks with no luck. I don't really have bunions, more like pressure hot spots. These Jianlida Bunion Relief Sleeves really do give me comfort in my hiking boot when hiking - the cushion only the side of my foot (see photo), but not really my toe. This is more of a stocking versus a splint. The definition of a splint is that it immobilizes a joint. To me, these feel a bit like a compressive stocking with a thin gel like cushion that can be moved around a bit. The sleeve is easy to put on - much easier than compression socks -and doesn't really do more than provide a toe sleeve for the smallest toe - there's really not a lot of pulling of the smallest toe from the other toes. My shoe size is women's 9 regular (medium) width. The size large works well and it fits snug, but doesn't restrict blood flow. The cushion in this sleeve doesn't make my boots feel tight but the label says to size up in your shoe if this makes them feel tight - really it would be just the sizing up the shoe width, not the shoe length. There are two of these compressive sleeves in the box, with no indication of right and left, so I guess they can be worn on either foot. Hope this review helps you decide if this Jianlida Bunion Relief Sleeve is the right product for you.

I got a blister on the bottom of my foot from wearing slipper socks with one of the non-slip pads that had rolled up causing a blister. It has been four months and I cannot get it to heal. I am hoping this silicone pads will do the trick. It is hard walking in bare feet, which is how I usually walk around the house. I have been wearing shoes and socks and that is a pain. These little half socks with some bottom padding are nice. I did cut the little toe portion off as it did not align with where I needed the padded portion. But, they still work. If the little toe portion was bigger to fit any toe, then you could adjust the bottom pad where you needed it. Other than that, I think they will work. And I only need to wear them on one foot. Not wearing shoes in the summer is nice.
