Recently dug out my old iPod and needed some cables to reconnect the thing, and thankfully this cable did the trick! This cable is very similar to the original ones that came with most Apple devices for some time, it doesn't have any bells or whistles, but it gets the job done and charges my device and connected it to a computer. Wouldn't say I had any expectations beyond that, but it seems made well enough and it worked. My only minor complaint was it was a bit snug when initially plugging it into my iPod. I compared it with another cable I had which didn't have the issue, so it could be something that maybe with a little wear it'll fit better, but it didn't prevent me from using it or anything, so wouldn't hold that against it, more just something to be aware of. As mentioned, it does the job it advertises, and have had no issues with it, so would recommend. I think this would be great for folks like myself who may have older devices that they're trying to connect to, and if you're getting back into using an iPod again this is a must have.

It's getting increasingly difficult to find these older cables, so I'm always happy to stock up when I can. These work flawlessly.

I found an old ipod that I hoped to get working but couldn't find a cable. This got it charged and working!

I still had my iPhone 4s and threw away the charger cuz it was frayed. My 17 y/o nephew wanted to see what the iPhone 4s looked like since hes got the most updated one and he couldnt get over the size. I was shocked that the charger was still sold and for the price ; I couldnt say no. The face was priceless on my nephew when he seen it. He actually likes the smaller compact size too. I hung onto that phone in a watertight case so it was in mint condition; as long as I could because I loved the small size too! Like nephew like Aunt! too bad 3G is a thing of the past..

Short and simple review incoming. These older ipod chargers are harder to come across now, and I still have and use two older ipods that both use this charger. Cheaper than buying from apple! And works just as well! Plus, this is longer than the original cord I got with those back then. What else can I say? I still have the original cord, but it's always good to have a spare.
