The large connectors and wire are definitely suitable for bass rigs etc...if you play loud these will do the job. These are heavy duty and will probably last forever but they are repairable if necessary. Good value considering the cost of other good cable like these.

OMG, WOW. This cable is no joke. Some other cable companies claimed their products are 12 AWG. Most of those companies are on crack or something else. CABLE MATTERS truly delivers a solid well build 12 AWG cable that's very thick. I'm using this cable for my PA system and I immediately noticed the sound quality of my speakers go to the next level. My PA system sounds clearer and the bass is tight. The connectors are also great quality all around. I wish the cables were longer than 6ft. I hope one day Cable matters makes 15ft or 20ft or even longer cables in the future. I will definitely buy their products again. I love this cable, this is my to go to from now on.

Excellent cables so far. Theo only issue is the output jacks on my audio interface are too close together to connect both cables due to their larger size. Individually though they sound great.

Fantastic cables... large durable wire and connectors to prevent fatigue and last longer. The cables themselves are thicker to provide stable electrical connectivity for faithful sound recreation. They are sheathed in a durable braided material to prevent kinking and lessen outer cable wear. The quarter inch connectors at either end, are larger and securely connect to amplifier output and speaker input. I'm using these to connect a bass amplifier with large speaker cabinets in a bi-amp'd configuration to integrate a high wattage bass guitar rig. The sound quality is excellent. They seem to be low resistance/capacitance, providing no discernable volume loss or limitation to dynamics or degradation to frequency response, and with their secure connections, no adverse effects from low frequency vibrations to the continuity of sound quality, compared with other speaker cables I've used. These are a great products and value for the price!

As soon as I took the cables out of the box I immediately noticed the thickness of the cable which told me they look like the right gauge (12) that I had ordered then I unscrewed the 1/4 plug from the connecting housing and inspected the overall workmanship and saw it was very well made it felt really tight no looseness and covering shrinkwrap was very tight on the soldered parts. Plugged in the cables to the back of my tube head and heard the great sound coming from my cabinet!!!!!! For the money these are very good cables I will be looking at more of their cable products!
