So, I recently bought a new set of 4-star, 6-star and 8-star lens filters in the 82mm circular size. And while the packaging was Earth-friendly and recyclable with padding inside them, it wasn't conducive for camera bags and such. So, I went hunting for a lens filter bag that would hold those 82mm lens filters and some eXisting smaller sized filters, too. I came across this bag, evaluated it and bought it for several reasons: - The durability of the synthetic nylon bag itself - The zippers as opposed to most similar sized bags with velcro to open and close - The inside pads are of a soft fabric so as to not scratch the lens filters - The optional belt loop to carry this bag on one's hip for a hands-free eXperience - The optional nylon strap to carry this bag across my chest & shoulder for a hands-free eXperience - I don't necessarily have to dig into my camera bag for lens filters and saving bag space Overall, I thought the bag is a pretty good one to securely hold lens filters. Now, let me be CLEAR as another reviewer pointed out before I even bought this bag: despite what the description says, this bag definitely will NOT hold 95mm filters, nor do I think and doubt 86mm filters either. 82mm is the max. If you take a look at the pictures I posted here, I have a trifecta set of 82mm star lens filters (as I stated at the top of this review). The in-between padding of this bag won't hold all three of my filter together (they're ONLY designed to hold one filter in-between each other), so what I did was place them on either end of the bag itself and they will fit that way, or if I separate them individually (which I don't plan to do). I chose to use the end of the bag that is closer to my hip because this bag is an accordion stretch style fit, so I DON'T want filters falling out of the bag I unzip it!!! I also have two ND (neutral density) filters which are 77mm and 82mm respectively. I placed those in the bag. The in-between padding is stitched in and they (and the bag itself) stretches out accordion style, so the pads aren't removable like some other bags (and that's fine for me and not a deal breaker). The more filters you place it, the thicker the bag will stretch out. Because I have 82mm filters, the in-between pads will hold them in VERY SNUGLY (which is good, and thus, as I stated before, I can't see any filters above 82mm fitting in this bag at all. Any filters smaller than 82mm will easily fit in this bag. Now, the zippers. This was another selling point for me to buy this bag. It is a double zipper design. I think the zippers are adequate, but not great. I do wonder how these zippers will hold up over time. I don't think they are the most robust, but time will only tell. Velcro can weaken over time with repeated use which is why I chose this zippered bag instead, but the zippers... again, only time will tell. It occurred to me while inspecting this bag that if the zippers were to fail, how would you open and close this bag??? I mind mused that I'd have to jury-rig it with velcro straps or something, I suppose. Lastly, I LOVE the fact that this bag has a belt loop and a nylon shoulder strap for a hands-free eXperience, so that way I can focus on holding my pro-style DSLR camera(s) which have a battery grip on them and shooting images. If you look at the pictures I posted, I illustrate a 1.25-inch thick belt which fits in easily. I also have a thicker belt at 1.75-inches (not pictured) and that is the maximum belt thickness that you can use with this bag's belt loop. Overall, I give this bag 4 stars. I knock off a star because it does NOT hold 86 or 95mm circular (or square) lens filters as advertised (which is not a deal breaker for me personally) and because the zippers aren't the most robust. So, we'll see as time rolls on with the zippers. Overall, I am happy and this item is RECOMMENDED!
