I don't write reviews often but I felt the need to here. I needed a bowl that had a suction on the bottom because my cat pushes bowls into corners when she eats. This did not stop that from happening. The description said it is non slip. It's not. I had it on a completely flat and dry tile floor. The suction gave up after a minute or so. Not to mention, the way it's designed, once you have food in the bowl, you have to put a finger or 2 in the center of the bowl for the suction to even work, so you end up with food all over your hand. You can't spread eagle your hand around the whole thing because it just flows around lol. I really gave the product a fair shot and it's not very good. I thought the bowl would be harder or plastic, so I could properly press down the suction, but the entire thing it silicone. That is my fault, I should have read the description. That being said, it's flops around and doesn't suction properly. So no, it is not worth the money.

Needs to be a little bigger

Opted for a cheap option and apparently didnt do my best research. I wanted this to suction to the floor or to the plastic feeding mat so my cat would stop knocking over and sliding his water all over the floor. Epic fail!

This little bowl has a suction cup design on the bottom, so you can set it on a countertop and have it stay in place. If you have a cat like mine, then you know how they like to knock things off counters and shelves. This bowl will stay in place if you use the suction cup feature. It holds enough dry cat food for several days. The bowl is made of silicon, but the sides are somewhat rigid. This is one bowl that won't break if you drop it, or if the cat knocks it over. It's also easy to keep it clean. The silicon was easy to wash. I hand-wash all my dishes, so I didn't test it in a dishwasher. If you have an aggressive eater who pushes the bowl around, this one is a good solution to that too. The bowl is also soft, so it won't scratch anything that you place it on. There's a small tab on the bottom, which helps release the suction, so that you can pick it up and clean it, etc.

I have an older cat who loves to sleep on a shelf that's about six feet off the ground. He stretched out and spends most of his time there and he expects to eat his wet food up there, too. He has a bowl with a good rubber rubberized bottom that he can't accidentally push off the floor during meal times. Because he's a sedentary old geezer with a lot of long fur, it's especially important that he has plenty of water in easy reach. He comes down and gets some when he uses the litter box or grazes the crunchies with the other cats -- but I want to make sure it's always within easy reach for him because he's lazy and probably won't go get a drink if he's only a little bit thirsty. Older cats are prone to kidney problems, so being sure he has effortless access to water is a concern. Even though I've tried giving him fairly stationary water bowls, he always manages to send them crashing down since you can't remove a water bowl like you do a food bowl after a meal. This silicone bowl seems to be the answer to my problems. It doesn't move. I suppose if he purposely kicked it, it might, but casually leaning against it does nothing. I've seen him checking it out with a front paw -- and quickly losing interest because it isn't pushable. This bowl is fairly small but deep, and it's soft-sided. You need to carry it carefully so you don't push in the sides and slop water while setting it in place. But once it's down, it's good to go. It won't break, so it's great in a house with hardwood or tile floors. The bowl is also perfect for travel. One for kibble, one for water, would work perfectly. They wash easily and take up no room -- you can stuff them in corners and they'll pop back into shape when you're ready to use them. I'm really impressed with this versatile bowl.
