Although small, these are convenient, useful, and cute

I got the pack of 5 cat sponges. Im a cat person and I love cat stuff. These were just too cute to pass up. Since they dont have that really harsh scrubbing side that some sponges do, Ive decided to use these to give myself a sponge bath after I have some surgeries later this year where I might not be able to shower for a few days. FACTS AND DETAILS: Each sponge has the features of a cat on the front, with an overall coloring made to look like a cat - all in 5 different varieties. The back is faintly stamped with the brand name and logo. The sponge itself is white. My measurements were slightly different than in the photo: The compressed sponge measured approximately 2.75 at its widest (widthwise) and .0625 (1/16) thick; once expanded it measures approximately 3.125 at its widest (widthwise) and .6875 (11/16) thick. The ropes measure approximately 8.5. They are not individually wrapped, but come in a small cardboard box. THOUGHTS AND OPINION: I love that these are natural and compostable sponges. The rope really isnt long enough to put around your wrist, but it can be used to hang up the sponge to dry. I might put a longer piece of rope on the sponge. I think these would be great for travel. They pack and store nicely. I think when compressed they need to be stored in a watertight package if you want to make sure to keep them in their compressed state. Any risk of moisture can start expanding the sponge. Overall, these are quite small for sponges. They are really cute, though, and great for the cat lover, for use as a baby bath sponge, or to help encourage kids to clean. I think anyone could find these useful in some way. $9.99 seems to be a lot for 5, in my opinion. Id pay $6 or $7 at most. CONCLUSION: Although small these are convenient, useful, and cute. They dont take up much space, and they are fun to use. I just really like these and they make me smile. They get 5 stars from me!

Pretty small for a sponge

When I ordered these cute sponges, I had thoughts of using them as kitchen sponges, but they are so tiny that I think they would only be good as a facial sponges. They are indeed cute; the designs on the sponges are all different cat faces. Literally, after expanding, the sponge is 2.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall, .5 inches thick. I like that they are eco-friendly and most likely compostable, but again, so small. Truly, a novelty item.
