My dog, Hank, is a rescue, so I'm not positive what he is. The rescue said he is an Old English Sheepdog, but I think he may be a Sheepadoodle. Either way, he has a really thick coat that is not easy to keep up with. If I dont stay on top of it daily it can quickly become a mess. When I do get behind with grooming him I have had to bust out the clippers a couple of times to clean up a couple of spots. I have a pair of really nice Andis grooming clippers that I love. I had the original #10 Andis blade that the clippers came with, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, I left the #10 blade outside while it was rainy out, and it rusted up. Due to my mistake, I needed to replace my Andis #10 blade. I ran across Vetmoors #10 blade, and since it is compatible with my clippers I decided to try it. The blade feels sturdy, and it works well, but my Andis blade definitely worked better. Its not a huge difference though, so this blade isnt horrible or anything like that. The problem I have with it, is that for the same amount of money I can get an actual Andis blade that works slightly better. So, why would I want this blade instead? I gave it 4 stars because it does work, and it does do what it is meant to do. And, if it was less expensive I would buy it again. However, since it costs the same as the the Andis blade (that works better) then it makes zero sense to get this in lieu of the real deal. I wont be getting this blade again from Vetmoor. I will stick with the Andis blade.

I keep ordering blades but they don't work correctly and I think that there might be something defective or pieces falling off of my detachable apparatus. But the price was great the blade is new it is an excellent condition you can't beat it I definitely recommend it I just don't know what the problem is but I can't say it's the clip of the clippers great but it's just not cutting but I think honestly that it's my clipper.

I clipped a fetlock and bridle path on a dirty Winter coat (horse). The blades did a great job and moved easily through coat and mane. They fit perfectly on my Oster Turbo A5 two speed clippers. Based on experience, this blade is comparable to Oster and Wahl #10 blades. Time will tell how they hold up.

Got horses.. this blade works. Got dogs... this blade works. And for other animals... this blade works. An all around versitle blade that is interchangeable with your heavy duty clippers and those lighter rechargeable clippers for work around the face, this blade is good for heavy cutting as well as trimming a horse's face or grooming around the muzzle of your small dog. We use this in our kennel and find it works great for clipping the dogs. As the weather warms up, we will be trimming the longer hair on the long hairs and wire haired dachshunds eliminating the mats and extra hair so the dogs will be cooler in the summer. I highly recommend these clipper blades for your dogs or for your kennel or even your horse farm. Very pleased with the performance.
