I have been using this oil-free moisturizer for a long time, and now Id like to share my experience. My skin is combination type, with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, and it is very sensitive. After using this moisturizer, I found that it did not cause any allergic reactions, which is very important for me. Its texture is light and easy to spread, without feeling heavy or sticky. After application, my skin feels very refreshed. This moisturizer contains SPF 35, which effectively protects against daily UV damage. I pay a lot of attention to sun protection, especially during outdoor activities, and using this moisturizer saves me from having to apply an additional sunscreen, which is very convenient. Moreover, it leaves no white residue, and my skin tone looks natural after application, with no heavy feeling.

I'm a big fan of the Cetaphil products because of their minimalistic ingredients. I have sensitive skin, combination, super oily but also super dry, textured, and acne prone. I bought this because I needed a day-time moisturizer with SPF without the bells and whistles (minimal harsh ingredients) ever since I started using retinol. This fits the bill for all the things I need it for, but it isn't quite my favorite (I've tried A LOT of moisturizers). What's good about it is that it definitely moisturizes skin, leaves skin feeling soft, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and meets all the criteria that I look for in a moisturizer. It is a good price and it is from a very trusted brand recommended by dermatologists. What I don't like about it is that it is cakey, feels thick on the skin and doesn't quite feel like it absorbs all the way so sometimes I worry about makeup application with this. It also smells like sunscreen... I don't know how else to explain it. The pump bottle is great for easy access but the moisturizer dries in the tip so you get a big chunk of congealed moisturizer with your first pump. Overall, I don't regret purchasing this and it is a great option if you need something simple but I likely will purchase something a little less cakey in the future. Hope this helps!

SO, I typically like the Cetaphil brands and recently purchased the Oil-Free with SPF35 face moisturizing lotion. The one thing I cannot stand with moisturizers that contain the added layer of SPF protection is if you can smell the SPF protectant. It has a unique and offensive smell to me. I was SO happy to discover that this does NOT have an offensive smell at all. I can't even tell it has SPF in it, so this is EXCELLENT news for my face which by my Dermatologist is required for me to have sun protection more than 30 at all times on my face. The texture is thick and covers well. The only drawback to this is the dispenser. I found it very difficult to prime the first squirt. Actually nearly impossible which I ended up giving up and just taking the top off and applying on my face by dipping the straw tube into the bottle. I had my husband prime it later. It is now primed and the only other drawback is it does not consistently pump, so not sure how long the lotion will be coming out of the tube properly. When it does it is in very small doses. However, does seem to cover well enough even with the minute doses of the small pump action. I did contact Cetaphil to let them know they need to improve on the dispenser. Other than the functionality issue, I'm VERY pleased with it. Not sure about how long and how well the SPF works, but I'm not using it as a suntan lotion.
