This is the best chunky yarn yet

I bought this yarn to do hand crochet blankets. The yarn is very thick problably an 8 on the yarn scale and perfect for finger or hand crochet. While other yarns are fluffy with a hard core this is strong and more like expensive polar fleece texture. It is the same feel throughout the diameter of the yarn. It would be good to use for making weighted blankets because of the heft. It is best to use the same yarn together with the other color offerings rather than mixing with similar brands because there is an obvious difference in texture, weight, and look of stitches. This is a super warm yarn so a more open stitch is a good idea to allow breathing through fabric.

Definitely chunky!

Nice, soft and durable. Was supposed to get it next day on a Thursday, but ended up getting it on Saturday. For some reason, it got lost in transit from Texas and I am in Florida. Don't know why. I do want to point out that I thought the packaging was a little too much. It was packed in a vacuumed sealed bag, which was nice, BUT, it was also wrapped with cellophane about six times and then taped all over everywhere. It looked like a brick of cocaine! LOL. Took me about a half an hour to get it unwrapped. But, all in all, I do believe it will work well for my project.

Its vacuumed packed Very Tightly and is not in anyway good in what would be a Skein is just in a large bundle tied up. I didnt have any problems with it fraying or knots in each bunch. It was a good buy for the money
