My dog has a tendency to chew rope leashes so buying this set was essential when trying to keep her safe on her first camping trip. Both items helped when we had a tie out

NOT Chew Proof!

The 5 cable is not chew proof! My German Shepherd pup chewed almost thru it in several places. I was very disappointed.

Works well so far.

Sturdy and strong. Could use a little extra padding on wrist strap. Tends to dig in on your hand/wrist when my dog pulls on the leash. Really like the snop ring. It makes it easy to wrap the leash around pole or object when you need to tie them off real quick.

Good length. Can be used a few ways.

I got this because there are clips at both ends of the leash. I wanted a leash for helping me teach my dog longer and longer durations on her place cot while we're at home. She sometimes likes to dart off the place cot if she sees my cat walk by. This helps remind her to stay on her place cot until I give her the command to get off. Eventually, I won't need it after she learns not to leave her cot. I attach one clip to her collar and the other clip to the wall where I put a large eyelet screw. Her place cot is next to the wall. Other leashes that had the clips on both ends were either a little too short or way too long. I didn't need the handle because I already had a short traffic leash, but I really like having another one to keep in my bike bag for when I need it when we go biking. She has a bike attachment for dogs. If I take her off of it to walk around, then I can use this short traffic leash. I think this would be a good leash if the dog is a chewer of fabric, biothane, and leather leashes. It's good as a tie out because of the clip on both ends. I also like that it can be used as a short traffic, training leash, or as a regular length leash. The handle is thin because the whole thing is made of wire, so maybe this isn't the most comfortable for long walks. It's wrapped in clear tubing to make it thicker and softer. I like how this leash doesn't tangle like other leashes tend to do that are made of fabric, leather, or biothane. For what I got this leash for, it's perfect so far. I think it will be durable, but it's too soon to tell.
