A little too big for a small size.

I ordered a small size and it's more like a medium size.

Harness arrived used and FILTHY.

I bought two harnesses, one blue and one green. The blue came in a box, the green in a plastic bag (no box). The blue harness arrived clearly used, unwashed, and FILTHY. There was crusted dirt and maybe poop all over the front and back of the harness (see pics). At a time where bird flu is a major issue the last thing I want is a used dirty bird product anywhere near my home. I understand things get returned, but the condition of this item was not acceptable at all. The pictures dont do the dirt justice, I took them quickly because I was so grossed out and didnt want to handle the item more. Not trying to be overdramatic but these are for chickens and ducksI own two and know how dirty and disgusting they can be so to allow this to be returned, sitting in its own filth and then sent out as new is not okay.

I inherited my grandmothers elderly hen and I was not prepared for the addition to my family. I have 4 dogs and an active life so I didnt know how a chicken would fit into what I like to do. Come to find out theres a ton of chicken products like this harness and I just gave it a shot. My new hen hadnt been handled at all for 8 years so she will run from me when she can. I dont care at home but outdoors I need to keep her close so I basically hook her up and attach the leash and let her follow us around. When we are ready to go and I try to load her up in the vehicle she will run. I step on the leash and am able to get her secured easily. My hen is a buff Brahma bantam and the medium fits perfect on her.

At this time I have a single rescue chicken living in her pen/coop area outside. This harness is helpful for when I want to do any maintenance on her living area or if the weather is bad I can keep her contained in a safe area. It took a couple of tries to get it on right, but once you get it right, its not difficult and she doesnt seem to mind it.

Everything I wanted it to be!

I have a medium sized Gold Laced Wyndotte that this fits perfectly! She injured her leg when she was only a couple of months old and has been picked on since it's gotten cold. So I needed a way to let her walk around in the house while also not leaving chicken poop anywhere she goes. She's a little small for her breed but the medium fits her great without being too small or too big! Love the zippered poop pouch. She has a hard time walking due to her injure so stepping in and out of the cheap diaper I bought was really uncomfortable. This will definitely solve that problem. Oh! And the little clip on bows are super cute ~ I think the only critique I have is that I wish it was an option to buy an extra poop pouch so that cleaning the one she's wearing was a quick process. I was already considering buying an extra one in case I need one for another indoor chicken but I would buy multiples of the poop pouch if those were available!
