Works with my pressurized CO generator & diffuser. I prefer this type with the barbs, as it's less likely pressure build up, when clearing water from the tubing, blows the line off. Plus the stainless looks really cool with my black tubing. Gonna get more for my air bubbler too, because the line sometimes tend to disconnect there. It probably happens more often with timer setups. When the CO and air pump are off water backs up to the check valve. When they're turned back on it initially takes more pressure to clear the lines of water than it would if they were constantly running. I try to put the check valve close to the water level so there's less water to clear out when the pump & gas are turned on. Just something to keep in mind if you have or are considering alternating your CO & air pump with a timer or even manually.

Check valve fit right in line and appears well made, body all metal with good barbs on it. Will update if anything changes. Using for co2 injection in aquarium upstream og the bubble counter.

This glass frit bubbler works great but only if you give it perfect amount of pressure. On my yeast/sugar setup I barely get enough pressure to make it bubble. And not at the rate needed. With a pressurized CO2 tank, can set it to ~15psi and get just the right amount of tiny bubbles. Good item, good price. But I wish it didn't require so much pressure. Not ideal for a CO2 generation system. Ideal for a pressurized tank with regulator.

Very pleased with this little thing. Its cute, and does the work. I soaked mine for 48 hours - and got it going from the first spin. Ive read many comments here (even with positive reviews and ratings) - but totally misleading. Yes, it will ONLY work with pressurized CO2 tank and appropriate regulator valve. But working pressure is NOT 30-40-60 psi. Whoever wrote this - probably has no idea what he/she is talking about (unless it was a bad joke). 60 psi pressure would blow your tubing on every connection - not to mention a tender glass fixture which this diffuser is. Ive got mine set up at 10 psi for ~2-2.5 bubbles per second (for my 55 gal heavily planted tank). Might increase it to 4 bubbles eventually - but since this diffuser produces perfectly fine bubbles (slightly larger than champagne) - CO2 dissolves in water much better than it did for me with previous diffuser (6 bubbles). Quantity of your bubbles will depend on resistance of ceramic disk of your diffuser (plus any in-line check valves etc). So dont play (or risk) with pressure - count the bubbles on your bubble counter! And watch your in-tank CO2 checker. One note on pressure though - after you soak your diffuser and prime it initially - youll get bubbles out of only 2-3 spots on your disk. Thats when you want to carefully increase the pressure to about 20 psi - and then lower back it immediately. This jump will open up the pores and youll see bubbles coming out from many other areas of the disk on your diffuser. Good luck!
