I got the most beautiful L-shaped Amish made tobacco brown stained Maple desk for myself when I started working from home. It serves double-duty as a makeup vanity and I just couldn't stand when the hairspray would get on it, and the lotion from my arms would get on the desk as I worked. Not only that, but I drink my coffee and snack there as well, and my cat walks on it too. I got one of these desk mats in the dark green for the part that I use as a makeup vanity and another larger one for the other side where my three monitors, keyboard and mouse live - and it's perfect. Thick and good quality with the top a nice leather material and the bottom a soft suede. The color is such a compliment to the stain and doesn't take away from the beauty of the desk, and it is protecting all that craftsmanship from my messy self! Get one! Get two!!

I ordered two of these in the same size and color: one to use as a desk blotter/mouse pad to protect my painted desktop and the other for my vanity top to catch makeup spills. They are nice and thin (in a good way - not too bulky), stay put and look nice. They arrive rolled up by laid flat within a day after I temporarily anchored the four corners with books. I ordered the "white" color and it is more of an ivory (but not yellowish) than an optic white. Great, useful purchase for the money!

I've had this for a couple of months now and it's working out well enough. The only real complaint I have is that the front edge is curling and I'm unable to get it flat again. It may be just because of how I rest my wrists on it though. It's also pretty thin and doesn't have much padding. If you're looking for something with a lot of padding, this isn't it. Color is great and I use automotive vinyl cleaner and a microfiber cloth on it for coffee drips and it works out well. Overall, I'm relatively happy. The curling edge is the only issue I have with it. I wish I could give it a 3.5, because I feel that's what it deserves, but I can't. I also don't think it's fair to give it a 3 because it's not bad, so I give it a 4.

I could not love this more! I protects my desk from scratches and adds so much style. The color is an exact match. My only regret is I wish I would have gone up a size.
