Kinda unwieldy to use

Compared to other offerings, the nice things is it lets you swap in a MagSafe puck and actually get the camera close enough to the edge to use desk view. Other than that though, the top feels pretty plastic and the magnet puck is really hard to remove to swap out.

Simple sturdy holder

Very well made, and adjusts smoothly. It cannot fold very small, and is too heavy to carry around every day. But it is inexpensive enough that I may get a second for home, for video calls for work or to friends. At work, I am using it on top of a camera and mic-less 27 in monitor I attach my M2 MacBook Air to. Plent of adjustment, seems to sit study, and if youre in the Apple world, continuity camera works a treat.

May not work with your monitor

The product is sturdy and came nicely packaged. It does hold the phone securely, but I am not super happy with how it sits on the monitor. I have made it work, but it's not securely attached to the monitor. This is because it relies on the weighted bottom section to counterbalance the iPhone. I have an iPhone 15 Pro and I had to play around with the bracket to get it to sit right on the monitor, but even then, a bump of the monitor or the desk I'm working on could cause the phone to fall off. Good for standalone use but less good for sitting on a monitor.

Great quality, universal product

All products in this category feel very overpriced. This one has a perfect price/quality ratio. Very decent build quality and universally usable across my external monitor and Macbook monitor. I use it daily during meetings with my iPhone as a camera.

Solid construction, this provides the flexibility and stability for taking crystal clear FaceTime and Zoom calls via my Apple TV and Mac. Magnet holds well and I feel confident of its hold on my iPhone 14 Pro.
