Seems pretty good if small

This is for a shih tzu and her car seat, even though we have the AC on in the car it seems silly not to get a cooling mat over the polyester cushion cover for summer. Usually I cool her seat with ice packs prior to getting her in the seat and have a cooling towel for her to use while in the seat but its really just a scarf and doesnt cover the whole seat, or shes wearing a cooling vest, or both. So even though its small its perfect for upping our summer car seat game when chauffeuring my fur sis to daycare or grooming. It doesnt seem as cool to the touch as blankets Ive got in previous years but it seems cooler than cotton. It washes easily with BioKleen powder detergent on normal, can handle color safe bleach alternative, and dries well hanging up. Its well made and seems like it will last quite a while.

Small and does not cool

We have a different cooling mat/blanket for my dog and it actually feels silky/cool to the touch. This one is a lot smaller (Size small would be for dogs <10lbs) my shihtzu (13lbs) and Maltese (16lbs) definitely do not fit on it. It has a quilted look and feel to it but there is definitely no cooling effect. Washing and drying it is easy, I just throw it in with the rest of their laundry. Pretty thin blanket/mat. I dont think its worth the purchase tbh

Not for Cats

I put this in a cat bed and she liked it, but my cats are not declawed and her claws kept getting caught in it. Probably great for dogs. It is very thin.

I got this for my cats and you would think they prefer the heating pads. They love this and fight over who gets to lay on top of it. Cat approved. It stays in place, keeps them cool, and is just the size for one of my cats. Easy to clean just use proper care. It works and its a great value. Now my big boi whos part Maine Coon is bigger than the sheet but hes the one I find sprawling all over it every time. His fur is so thick that even with the A/C blasting he needs a cooling mat to lay one.

Its a Hit with My Kitty

My cat has been using this for 3 weeks and so far so good! I have an elder kitty that I worry about getting overheated in the summer heat. I know that cats like heat and warmth, but I cant help but worry. The fabric has a gentle cooling effect to the touch. Its not like some that feel grippy or clammy, we have tried those in the past and just the tactile feel would make him avoid them like crazy. This one he took to immediately and lays and sleeps on most of the day. I am very happy about that. I am very pleased with how well this is working for my little kitto.
