If you're planning on sticking these on top of a desk or table, the adhesion is sufficient. If you planning on sticking these on the side of the desk in a more discreet location, then the adhesion can be an issue. I got these specifically to prevent my standard apple chargers to quit sliding off the back of the desk and nightstand. I didn't exactly want them visible. But when the charger slides back and hit the clip enough times, it comes loose. So, make sure that if you get these, that you use them on top of the table.

I purchased the smofish Cord Organizer Holder 12 pack for my parents. While at their house I noticed their cell phone charging cords laying on the ground. We attached one smofish clip to the back of a speaker and the other to the top of a glass table. No longer do my parents have to bend down to pick up their cell phone charging cord now that the cord stays up where they can easily reach it. The magnets that keep the clip closed work well which was a consideration as we wanted a clip that held tight. We have not removed either of the clips so I can not review removal. So far I recommend this product since it fulfills its purpose.

I have cables laying all over the computer desk for various purposes which create more than a bit of clutter. Difficult to use since they tend to get tangled together. These little magnetic organizers are just the ticket to unclutter the desktop. They stick to the desk top or sides really well no issues with them falling off. Using a magnet to open and close is way better than the all rubber ones with a slot in the side. Those tend to want to pop out of the holder. These don't have that problem they open and close using a magnet. Simply open it up drop in the cable and close the holder and you're done. Simply grab the end slide it out for use and when done it slides back out of the way quickly and easily. Plastic is sturdy and magnets seem very strong. Highly recommended.

My desk needs several peripherals that cannot just placed anywhere. And if they are placed on the table, they must be secured down, along with the cables. That said, I sometimes have to take off some of the cables at a moment's notice, so I am left with very few options on the market that 1) have a strong adhesive, 2) can remove the cable and add it back quickly, and 3) can fit most cables diameter sizes, including XLR cables. This product offers all three and is probably the most efficient on the market. This is a perfect solution for all workspaces and then some. I am considering putting these on my bedside table so I can have my charger cable there so it doesn't slide off every time (we can all relate). Or to organize and keep cables for the entertainment center from slipping to the back of the table against the wall. Another idea would be to put them in the car to make it easier for you to have your cables accessible and not hidden. This would make for such a great gift for colleagues at work too!
