The package that I received had one silicone tie that was broken. I emailed the company and they provided with a brand new pack. Small companies care more. It's that simple. Buy American. Buy from small businesses. ----- ORIGINAL POST ----- I have lots of Medical devices that use a micro charger. Micro USB are almost obsolete. Now I can have an adapter on my normal USBc charging cords. I liked these so much I ordered a 2nd pack. But one arrived torn. Hence the 3 stars. Bummed. These are not cheap. Hoping the company reaches out from my email.

I use these to make my phone work with wired headphone dongles, and it works great. Also, some of them glow in the dark (unexpected bonus). They are sturdier than I expected for the price and seem durable so far.

These hold the adapter TIGHT without any slipping and they seem to be good quality

I needed these! They were hard to search for (anything with leash in it did not work). I bought both the black ones and the colored ones . The black ones may be slightly easier to get on the cable (Watch the installation video very closely, even though the guy's fingers are in the way. No, the end of your cable does not go through the circle). It didn't look like the sleeve would go on any of my connectors, but so far I have gotten one on each of the connector types I have. I had the best luck putting it on from the blunt end, starting with a narrow edge and puushing the other end over the other narrow edge. They have been quite secure on everything I have tried them with. Changing from USB A to C is hard. My Kindle and tablet are still Micro A. I have several high-quality A to Micro A cables in the cars and at home and in the travel pack. Being able to have converters leashed (sorry, tethered) to the cables I have is great. And these are so much cooler and more functional than the rubber band/velcro solutions I was working out in my head. You will be frustrated with the designers the first time you put these on. But actually this is the best way. If the little button slid down the tether and over the circle it would slide back up in time. Once you get one of these on the cable it will stay put. I gave them 5 stars for value because I had been trying to think up something for weeks and these solved the problem.

Function: Works well, as long as what you're trying to attach (e.g. USB-C adaptor) is narrow. If you have a bigger item like USB-C female to USB-A male adaptor, it wouldn't fit. Color: I personally really didn't care about the color - I didn't buy them for color and the only option that was available to receive in time for a trip was the glow-in-the-dark type. It's true, the original IRL colors are not exactly vivid (see photo #1). But they do glow in the dark if you do the right thing. When I was growing up I was told I should put these things under the sunlight to "recharge," so I was curious. It's raining outside so I put them by my Happy Light (the kind you use in fall/winter for SAD) for 1 hour, just out of curiosity, since some people were complaining. Photos #2 and #3 are taken in the same condition in the closed unlit bathroom, on the same counter as #1. Lo and behold, it glowed more after 1 hour of natural spectrum light. You can also use a UV flashlight to "charge" glow-in-the-dark items. Glad my childhood memory came in handy :)
