This lovely journal would make a great gift for anybody who loves to journal, or who keeps their notes all in one place. The cover is soft and high quality, with a pretty design of dandelions (at least that's what they look like to me) on the front. The pages seem well-sewn, so I'm not worried that they will fall out, and the paper is very high quality. We haven't had any of our pens or markers bleed through the pages yet. I highly recommend it!

As a stationery snob, I really like to write on thick paper. I like paper that doesn't ghost or bleed through, and doesn't look like I'm trying to invent braille--I write hard. The paper is ivory, not pure white. So if having matching correction tape matters to you, this is not a good fit. The layout is a simple lined layout, but the header has spaces for the date, a memo number, and boxes to check days of the week or three possible weather conditions (sunny, cloudy, precipitation). The corners of the pages are rounded, which gives a more polished look. Two different colored ribbon bookmarks. Smooth vegan leather with pretty gold embossing in a floral design on the cover. Nice tactile quality to it. Elastic pen loop and band to keep the journal shut. It's a decent journal, but not one I would buy again -- the paper is about equivalent to 20lb paper, which is slightly thicker than standard copier paper. That's a bigger deal to me than it probably should be, but ... here we are.

This notebook has as nice design on the cover, which is a color theme carried into the bookmarks. Its simple, but very similar to hundreds of others - same header on the top of each page, for example. When it comes down to this journal its about how much you might like its cover design.

The purple cover of this MINICAGIE notebook attracts my attention. I really love all kinds of things in purle color. This one appears more like periwinkle in color. I love that it is a 180 lay flat design for easy writing and reading. The 2 color label strips are nice, colors match well with the periwinkle-colored cover. The descriptions state "100 gsm acid-free paper, which is highly ink-resistant and helps prevent blotting". I'm not going to write and test on the paper to see if it is ink-resistant or not but I can confirm that the notebook is made of good paperstock. 192 pages is pretty good size as a journal notebook. The notebook comes with an elastic strap that can protect the paper from curling. There is a small elastic hook on the side of the notebook to hold a pen. Too bad that it won't include a matching pen.

This journal is adorable. The cover is not as durable as I wish it was; there were some dents on the back when it arrived. The paper in this is very nice. It holds up well to different kinds of inks and highlighters with minimal ghosting. I also really like the top lay out, and I love that it has two book marks.
