I must admit, I was a bit hesitant to try out this facial cleanser at first. I've never been good with a daily skincare routine and am pretty frugal, but this cleanser has exceeded all my expectations! This is a mild cleanser that is less drying on my already dry skin than many similar products I have tried. My skin is not only dry, it is very sensitive as well and it also tends to become dehydrated and rough very easily. I use a full morning routine of toner, serum(s) and moisturizer and I also add sunscreen. So, I definitely need something that can effectively clean all of that away, but is also gentle enough not to cause irritation. And if it is moisturizing one top of that, so much the better. This is a thick, clear gel and I only need to use about a dime-sized dollop for my entire face and neck. It produces light suds but not a rich lather. It does not have added fragrance but is not scent-free. It smells a bit medicinal to me, but it is not an unpleasant smell and it doesn't last. I find it cleans my skin effectively and it rinses away clean. I haven't experienced any redness or sting. However, I don't find it to be particularly nourishing or moisturizing, which are some of the reasons I selected it for my aging skin. I don't use it on a daily basis but I do like using it several times per week The current price of $23.00 for an eight-ounce bottle seems reasonable.

This is a very good cleanser for my skin and is carefully crafted to ensure safety for people with skin like mine. It pumps out clear like a liquid soap and then foams as you wash your face. The container is fairly large, and the syrupy, clear cleanser pumps out a decent amount. In fact, I do a half-pump when I am not wearing makeup and only have my skin to cleanse after a good night's sleep or a weekend where I'm not putting makeup on around the house. My skin is really sensitive and flushes, flames up, or breaks out at the slightest irritant. The cleanser plays nice with my delicate skin and doesn't leave my face feeling overly dried out. I have very sensitive skin, which also happens to be combination. I suffer from a lot of breakouts, oily patches, and also dry, flaky skin on certain areas. Its incredibly frustrating to try and find a face wash that leaves my face feeling clean without over drying it. Most gentle cleansers dont feel like they actually do anything, but most salicylic acid cleansers feel harsh and drying. I was not particularly hopeful when I used this for the first time. It felt like just regular hand soap in my hands. However, after rinsing it off and drying my face, I am in love! My face feels clean and so soft! I havent had any breakouts like I usually do when I use gentle cleansers. It appears to do a great job evening out my skin and my face isnt over-dried or super oily within a short time. Im definitely a convert. Ill be using this face wash from now on.
