Handy item for my drink, notes, or other small items to keep my desk clear. Good quality and nicer metal design than the cheaper plastic ones. Good purchase.

This item is so useful! It is very sturdy and easily holds my large insulated mug (we weighed my mug when it was full of ice and water and it is a little over 4 pounds. The cup holder says it can hold up to 8 pounds, and I believe it can). I use a hospital tray when I am in bed or sitting in my recliner, and needed something to keep from having my cats constantly knock my drinks in my lap. The holder clamps easily and very securely onto the tray. It not only keeps my drink upright and within easy reach, I have also found it very useful for holding other items like my phone, pens and pencils, and my wireless computer mouse, to name a few. I love it so much that I bought a second one to go on the other side of my tray.

I attached this to the side of the fold-up table in my craft room and its perfect for all those loose craft supplies I use frequently. I have just ordered a second one for my computer desk. Its sturdy with no sharp edges and really beautiful to look at. It also has a divider and a slot on one side to hold your coffee mug. Im using both sides for supplies. I like that it takes up very little room yet holds so much. I have only one complaint and that is that its almost too short to hold pens. As you can see in my photo, I added a small terra cotta pot (it somehow fit) to add some height. A snug-fitting tumbler would work, also. I love it and highly recommend it.
