Packing just came taped together and the bade was misaligned which can be dangerous to use on a pet or just wont work it says new on packaging but wouldnt be surprised if it was used

This is the first time I've purchased accessories for grooming clippers I fell in love with! As I am learning about the art and technique of grooming my 10 month old goldendoodle, I am learning there are different detachable clipper blades which are designed for specific tasks. Upon receiving my 30 blade, I noticed it was taped closed and there were bits and pieces of what resembled leaves. The blades work okay I guess. I mean they were already repacked - maybe used - who knows. I will say this, I am disappointed being deceived. I just thought I was purchasing brand new detachable #30 clipper blades.

The media could not be loaded. Owning standard poodles means having to learn how to use clippers and do some grooming. These blades are close in quality to the Oster blades. This particular blade is for close 'shave' but leaves some hair 1/16" longer, like a skip blade. Rather than doing an all over face shave with a #30, you could use this and it will look like a week's worth of growth and not so 'raw'. This is a good blade for shaving the base of the tail as well. For those who are writing negative reviews, let me point out a few things: the bottom cutting blade is SUPPOSED to move back and forth, that's what cuts the hair. So, if you see that the blade is 'off kilter', its just seated in an open position. It comes pre-oiled but use lots of clipper oil on these. It also helps if you really push it down onto the post to get it to fit into the machine. Ensure that they are the proper blade for your machine. I use a variety of blades to give my ladies kennel clips, Miami clips, continental clips and then weekly face trims. These blades work fine. If you keep them oiled and free from debris, they should last at least a year or two.
