I am not impressed with how it goes on, hard to use on a large picture.

Easy to use, smooth application

I purchased some craft sets and needed this glue. I immediately ordered this when I came across it. 2 bottles will easily be able to glue my diamond sets and keep them looking nice.

This sealer seems to work quite. The applicator is similar to other sealers with the sponge and middle drip port. Applying the sealant is just as simple as other brands. The sponge stays in place and has not come off yet even after applying the sealant to a few paintings so far. Covering for storage does work well and should allow it to last till the next diamond sealing. Initial application will require you to unscrew the sponge part and remove a film on the bottle. The result after covering a painting looks like it holds the diamonds in correctly. The film that's left behind after dried is not stiff but has flexibility in it which is nice especially when using a reusable frame or moving around.

Having seen another review here saying the product left odd flakey residue on the diamond painting that they used it on, I decided to proceed with caution and start by applying it to a piece of paper just to make sure the product worked. The sealant is extremely thick and unpleasantly mucus-like, but after working with it for a bit I was able to spread it out into a thin layer that dried clear. With that test successful, I then started it applying it to the diamond art Easter ornaments that I got it for (to keep the diamonds in place as well as to prevent the uncovered sticky parts of the ornaments from picking up dust.) The sealer is rather difficult to apply properly: it's extremely thick and hard to spread out into a thin layer. I did accidentally leave too thick of a layer on one item, which lead to it having unpleasant looking flecks of sealant once it dried. The rest, though, worked quite well and look very nice. Even a bit shinier than they were before the sealant was applied. In short, this diamond art glue sealant works, but it's fairly difficult to use properly. You have to make sure that you apply a very thin layer, which is tough because it's extremely thick and gel-like. If you do it right, you'll get good results, but it's easy to apply too much, which looks bad once it dries. I can't really fully recommend this product because I've used other brands of diamond art sealer that were much easier to use.
