I was looking for a lanyard for my point and shoot camera that was longer than the one that came with it. This one seemed to fit the bill. It is a bit wider and thicker than a normal camera wrist strap without being too bulky. The lanyard is about 18 inches in length and attaches to the camera via a small loop similar to the stock lanyard. The loop seems pretty sturdy and could handle the weight of the camera hanging on it, but I do not have any plans on putting undue stress on it. The lanyard has an adjustment ball that lets you tighten it around your hand so it doesn't slip off when wrapped around your wrist. It also has a clip on the loop end that allows me to detach the camera from the lanyard. This is a nice feature if you have the lanyard tied on to something like a backpack strap. The clip is made of a durable plastic and seems sturdy enough where it will not accidentally become detached. All in all a pretty decent lanyard that gives you reasonable length and the ability to detach whatever you are hanging on to.

Works as expected

I recently purchased a small, rectangular shaped EDC flashlight that I love. However, I found that I actually like having it on a lanyard around my neck. I wanted something that allows it to be easily removed and not too bulky. This seems to fit the need exactly, so far so good.

This will come in very handy in the summertime when I wanna travel and carry my compact camera and dont wanna have to carry a big old bulky bag. Its lightweight and durable very well-made.

I use it with my Sony RX100 7 around my neck with the camera in one of my high jacket/parka pockets. This solution works particularly well in the Winter keeping the camera warm and also handy when I want to use it.
