I'm pleased that this supplement is Made in the USA and GMP certified. The Total Nutra DIM Supplement arrived with a safety seal around the top of the bottle and lid that I had to use scissors to remove. Under the lid was another safety / freshness seal securely affixed. The product is extremely fresh with an expiration date 3 years after the date I received, the product. All of these features set my mind at ease when trying a new supplement. The inside of the bottle was coated with a powder because one of the capsules had fallen apart. All the capsules were coated slightly with the powder from the capsules that had fallen apart, but the taste was still pretty neutral and the smell slight. I was able to swallow the capsules without any effort. I've been taking one a day in the mornings with other supplements before I have a bite to eat. I haven't had any side effects or upset stomach from taking the supplement.

I got this because I like to take DIM to even my moods out. To avoid the extreme ups and downs with how I feel. And I also like DIM to possibly aid in helping remove the bad estrogens that are associated with health risk. I get check ups and exams every year and on top of that I really like knowing I have my DIM to hopefully help as well. For me DIM is one the few supplements that I can actually tell/see a difference. My urine becomes temporarily darker a few hours after taking it. But only if I take enough. And that goes for my moods too. DIM only helps if I take enough. I was just trying a new brand that had 150 mgs in it and it did nothing for me. So I'm going to have two take caps to double that to 300 mgs and see if that's enough !? This brand however TotalNutra has 350 mgs of DIM in it per serving and thats with only 1 cap. I am very happy to see that as that is very close to my preferred dosage of 400 mgs. The Broccoli extract of 100 mgs is why it ( DIM) was not more than 350 mgs IMO. You can only put so much in one cap( without it becoming huge). It is my thinking that the broccoli extract was put in this for the conversion to Sulforaphane which is a very strong antioxidant that works synergistically with DIM. Sulforaphane like DIM comes from cruciferous vegetables like broccoli sprout and mustard seed. Sulforaphane is a not so well known powerful antioxidant that I would definitely recommend looking up if you are not aware of it. I actually take Sulforaphane with my DIM just in case the conversion does not happen. I also take Broccoli sprout extract with my DIM to hopefully help with the conversion. So to see the 100 mgs of Broccoli extract in this brand only helps that process IMO. This brand states it is third party tested but I prefer to see third party 'Lab' tested. I personally take DIM 4 days a week and 3 days off in an effort to use it when levels of estrogens may have reached high enough to utilize it. I mean seriously who knew that broccoli could make such a difference in my hormones. I didn't know about this until I saw this product and started to research it. When I research it, I was surprised at how much it COULD help with my hormones as I have hit perimenopause and let me tell ya. It SUCKS. Do I think that this will solve all my problems? Heck no BUT if it helps even a little I'm all for it. And please remember that each person's body chemistry is different and what works for me might not work for you and vice versa. With that being said, it came to me nicely sealed which put my paranoid mind at ease. It is a 2 month supply which I thought was great as most seem to be only a 1 month supply at around the price as this one. They do not specify where the ingredients are from BUT I like that it is made in the US and is GMP certified.
