These spoons came in handy when we were moving and had our metal utensils in storage. I didnt feel as bad about throwing them out as I would plastic spoons. They hold up well to everything we ate, though they are not particularly deep so I dont know how well theyd work with something like soup.

As the pictures show, this spoon is nearly flat. Similar to the wooden spoons used for ice cream, but with a longer handle. I use this to eat my daily box microwave lunch, and it serves my needs. It can't be used to eat soup or cereal. For the price, I would have expected it to at least come in a box rather than two plastic double bags. None of it got damaged, but for storage in my office cubicle, I have to find a container to put them into.

I got these to serve my cat her wet food so it didn't really matter how much curve the spoons had. I just wanted something that I could use to get the disgusting jellied fish type substance she loves out of the Fancy Feast packet, and then throw away guilt-free. For my purpose, they are perfect. However, I can't imagine eating soup or anything that actually required some depth with these. They wouldn't actually hold any liquid.

I have mixed feelings about these disposable wooden spoons. They are very sturdy, and I like that they are easily compostable. They are a good width, both in the handle and the shovel end of the spoon. However, the shovel end of the spoon is very shallow. These spoons are absolutely terrible for soup, especially broth. If you prefer to have nearly no milk in your spoon when you eat cereal, these spoons could be great for that. They would probably also be good for something like rice or mashed potatoes. I got the spoons that were not individually wrapped as individually wrapping wooden spoons in plastic seems to defeat the purpose of using compostable utensils.

We used the wooden spoons to make chocolate stirring spoons. Worked great!
