These dice are amazing. They come in a metal box with a viewing window so you can see them nestled in their foam insert. The eye movement is flawlessly smooth. I bought them for a birthday present and my friend absolutely loved them. A fabulous addition to your dice hoard.

The dragon is always watching

This is my first set of "liquid core" dice and I don't know what I was expected but I WASN'T expected a moving eye when I opened these up. It made the experience really fun and shocking, so I imagine bringing these to a dnd table would be quite the conversation starter. The edges are sharp and the color pretty eye catching. And honestly, for the price, these are better than I expected. Even just regular looking dice can be expensive so this price for this specialty set seems reasonable to me. This is a full polyhedral set. The d4 looks a bit different than all others I've played with - more crystal shaped. It still works exactly like a d4 but takes a bit of getting used to. There are small tiny bubbles in my dice but they're really not noticeable unless you're looking. The instruction card says that this is normal. They come packed in a tin with foam padding which is perfect for long term and everyday storage. I'll be keeping these in the tin since I think they'll be better protected than rolling inside my bag.

An Interesting Product with A Neat Design Aspect

The box is just a regular cardboard one with a sort of neat design on it. The inner container is made of aluminum and feels very thin and cheap. It does house the dice just fine though. The dice themselves do have sharp corners and the insert warns of that so keep younger kids away from these. Each die has a "Dragon's Eye" in the center and it shifts as the die is used which is kind of neat. Each one is standard quality and they each weigh about as much as any other die of similar size. The 4 sided is designed slightly different from a standard 4 sided as it looks similar to an 8 sided. It was designed this way to give room for the "Dragon's Eye" in the middle of it. Overall, these are a perfectly fine and useable novelty item. You can just keep them for show or actually use them. I would advise using them on a game mat. They feel as if they could chip and sustain damage if used on a bare table.
