Tried to use it to connect to my expansion dock that I use with a Mac Mini. They don't connect. A regular USB-C cable does. I was looking for more performance. This didn't do it for the dock connection. It does work great between two MacBook Pros. Seems like a hardware issue and not an issue with the cable.

It's totally on me that I didn't actually measure the length of my DJI Mavic Air 2 controller cable, but I bought this one thinking 0.72ft was sufficiently long that if was to use a tablet with the controller, this cable would be long enough. It isn't. It is however an excellent replacement or backup for the original cable with the exception being it will not nest inside the controller when packing away the controller. That's fine by me, as I like to just let the attached cable remain loose at the phone end and hang outside the controller even after closing the antenna/phone holder down. I use my phone with the connector to the left which requires rotating the connector where it plugs into the controller if to be able to reach the phone's end. So, leaving the cable attached saves my having to disconnect the end at the controller just to reverse the cable for storage. This flat cable is bulkier but still works great. Now I'd just like one about twice the length.

*Edit. I was contacted by Aogek.A Store and asked to try another set of cables. They promptly sent me another set and I'm pleased to report that these are working flawlessly. Whew. I was really hoping they worked as advertised as I edit 4k and even 6k video from SSD drives. These cables crank right through it. Thank you! I will likely be buying more. Five stars. **** Previous review **** Im not adding this review for any other reason than to explain that this cable simply does not work as advertised. I wanted a cable as a backup to my Samsung T5 SSD cable since I cant seem to locate an extra one. I could not edit video from the SSD using this cable. Playback was very choppy. I thought maybe my computer or software settings changed. I tried a few things then eventually replaced the cable with the original Samsung one. Everything work flawlessly. Too bad because this is a cool looking cable.

Update: Pretty amazing cable. Great for data transfers and charging. It's short but soft and holding up well. I wish there were caps for the plugs, since this is great for travel. ------------------------------------- The cable is soft and flexible, and it has a great feel to it. Looks to be solid construction. Like other reviews said, it is on the short side. 8 3/4" from tip to tip when laid flat. So far it lets me use my external monitor (albeit low power and not 4k) off one thunderbolt port, and it's the perfect length. Great for transferring data off my phone too. Gets a bit warm to the touch, but not a big deal. Haven't tried charging my laptop with it yet, but I'm impressed with the build quality and in love with the softness of the cable. I ordered another one already... I'll update if anything changes my mind about this cable.
