I have 2 large dogs that are not fond of grooming, but when I tried the pet shedding massage glove they loved it. One of my dogs even walked back and forth circling around me to have the brush glide from her head to her tail. I like that this set also includes a brush for shampooing, and two sizes of toothbrushes.

This set is a great value, and the brush is particularly good. I have a single coated dog who sheds enough to make a whole new dog every single week. I thus own several similar brushes, but this one is the best, as the prongs are soft silicone, so they catch a lot of fur. I use one of my harder ones brushes first to loosen the hair, then use this one to trap more of it. As is true with all brushes like this, this works best if either the brush or the dog's fur is a little wet. (I wet the brush, unless I'm shampooing the dog at the time.) The mit is good for certain things, but the prongs are a little too short to capture much fur. It's really good for around my dog's face, where the longer prongs bother him. This set also comes with three different sized tooth brushes, so there is something for any dog.

This set came with multiple, useful pet care grooming tools, Perhaps my favorite is the grooming glove. Its like petting and massaging your pet, and removing shedding hair all at one.The silicon block brush has rounded and smooth points. It is especially useful when bathing your pet. The set also comes with a finger brush and a long, double ended toothbrush, I havent tried them yet, but Im thinking the finger brush will be the easiest and best to use.

We are taking care of a stray cat. It was so badly matted that his fur could not be saved. We had to take him to the groomer and he had to be shaved pretty much down to the skin. It was sad. But anyways, since this cat has a fresh start, we wanted some proper tools to help us maintain his new growth fur. This set came with multiple pet care grooming tools, so it is a good value pack. All useful things. The rubber block brush is nice and weighty. It is waterproof, so it would be a great scrub brush for bathing your pet. This cat loves just being brushed by it on his head. I especially love the grooming glove. This way I can keep my hand clean and free of all of the shedding hair. It is not overly rough, the rubber texture and nubs make for a great massaging brush for the cat. All of the shedded hair comes off easily, so we can keep the glove clean easily. This also included the brushes, like toothbrushes, im guessing. I'm not ready to try to brush a stray cats teeth yet, so I haven't used the toothbrush yet. I can't speak to that, but it looks like it would work just fine to brush teeth. It is double ended, so two different brushes on each end. If not used as a toothbrush, it could probably be used to detail clean other areas like the nails or face, etc. There's also the finger cap brush which is definitely a toothbrush. Also, not used yet. Overall, for the use we have gotten out of it so far, I am pleased. The cat is certainly happy. This will make it much easier to maintain the new growth fur and keep mattes out.

A nice set with a very nice glove that has a velcro opener at the wrist so it easly fits my large hand like few other pet gloves do. However, it does not work for bathing our oldest dog, a 17-year old Bichon with significant skin problems as both the brush and the glove are just to hard for her tender skin and multiple sores.
