The media could not be loaded. Not my dog's birthday, but we gave this cake a try. First, he loved it and it was made up of healthy things. The banana chips and peanut butter icing was a great touch. The biscuits that decorated the sides were a big hit. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the lack of airtight package. It's in the box with only a layer of wax paper and bubble wrap. My dog doesn't really care, he's not picky at all. I'm just concerned about shelf life.

The second we gave this to our golden retriever he started eating it with abandon. Obviously enjoyed the flavor!

I will definitely order these cakes again for my dogs in the future because they are well made, well put together, look amazing when they arrive, and you can definitely tell that there was care taken with both the ingredients as well as how nice they look when they got here. They smell really good when you open the box, the dogs love the taste and, although it is small, it is still a larger portion than most dogs are given, even large breeds like mine, so I cut it in half for them but it's a great value! The picture included in this review is either the top or the bottom half of one of the cakes I ordered for one of the dogs! So easy!

The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderful idea to celebrate the birthday of your pet. Its a really cute treat that made my dogs so excited when they caught a whiff of it - so, it has a puppy approved smell. The product is rice cakes layered and stuck together with peanut butter. The peanut butter is also the icing on the outer layer of the cake with dog bone biscuits around the sides and banana chips on top. Its drizzled with what looks like chocolate syrup. The cake comes shipped in a thick cardboard box with lots of green shredded confetti inside. The cake is not wrapped in plastic or sealed in any way. There is a sheet of parchment type paper inside, but nothing to keep the cake from drying out. So, the confetti gets stuck all over the cake, the peanut butter dries out and the bones stuck to the sides fall off. Its kind of a mess when you first open the box. There are things I liked and didnt like: The things I did not like: The list of ingredients is vague - too much so and there is no expiration date. The one I received had dried out peanut butter. It was chipping off like a shell. It would be really nice to know how fresh (or not so fresh) this dog cake actually is. I also do not like the way the cake comes unsealed. The things I like: adorable idea, product and presentation. I like that it is made here in the USA. Its a fun way to celebrate a special day with your fur baby! The doggy celebration cake has a lot of potential, but I dont feel comfortable recommending the product without more information about the product available on the packaging. I hope this helps you!

Cute cake delivered in a nice box. It came nestled in green confetti tissue, which Ive read in other reviews stuck to the cake. Ours only had one strand, not a big deal. A couple of the bone cookies on the side were off, yes those could use a little more of the icing that keeps it all together. But all in all, the dogs didnt care it made a cute little celebration for our birthday dog, and all 3 together took care of eating the cake.
