Good brush for dogs

This is a good little brush for dogs. The fine wire teeth work well at getting through my dogs curly hair and helps de-tangle and un-matte areas on his body. He likes to get brushed and has liked his brush so much I have to be careful not to leave it where he can get it because he's chewed the handle some.

Great for the Goldendoodle!

Our Goldendoodle has very thick hair, it's amazing how many layers there are. This short bristle brush works great for her hair type. She does have more of the Golden Retriever type of hair and it is really fine. The bristles on this brush are very fine, they get through her layers perfectly without having to brush too hard. The wooden handle is very smooth, nice looking wood. We accidentally left it outside one night and it was perfectly fine, even though it was rained on. This would not work for a dog with thick coarse hair that requires a lot of detangling, but good for thin, short or long fine hair. Very happy with it.

Really Tiny!

Hi Guys! Just received my brush in the mail. I got the small size brush expecting itd be for small to medium breeds and the large brush to be for large breeds. I would definitely pay attention to sizing because I was wrong! This brush is very tiny! It would be perfect for a miniature or tea-cup breed. As for the brush itself, I havent tried any other stickler brushes so I am not sure what else to compare it to, however, I do find the bristles to be very very rough. I have a miniature poodle and shitzu mix so her fur is wavy and long and fluffy and the brush didnt glide through her fur as well I as expected it to. I would stick to this brush for the shorter haired babies.

Tiny!!

This DOG by Dr. Lisa slicker brush was available to me through the ZeeBooth Vine program. I actually ordered it for my long-haired cat. The brush is available in small and large sizes. I ordered small without paying much attention to the actual dimensions. Wow, it is tiny; the rows of bristles are only 2 across! The brush works okay for brushing, but doesnt remove as much hair as some of the other brushes I use. Also, I prefer bristles that have protective tips on the end to help prevent scratching the pets skin. In addition, I have been using self-cleaning pet brushes (or ones that include a hair removal tool), so I find it a bit tedious to remove the hair from it after using. Lastly, I find it overpriced ($22 at the time of my order). This is not a pet brush I can recommend.
