I like the easy grip handle on the brush. It gets through the matted fur around our dogs neck better than the dog brush we already had. Our dogs are medium sized outside dogs (Australian Shephard, Border Collie mix). It seems to be a really good brush. We've used it a good bit over the last month. The kids will brush their dogs without being told, so the brush will fit a kids hand comfortably too!! I personally like the brush better than the comb, but both work well. I like the brush design a lot. As you brush the hair comes off it automatically and you don't have to stop every minute or so to pull all the hair out of the brush. Our dogs seem to like this brush better than the normal brush that you can just pick up at Walmart like we had previously. They sit still for their brushings now! I'd recommend this brush to anyone with a dog that needs to be brushed and doesn't like having to stop to clean out the brush all the time.

This comb is not bad. I have medium hair pups, all Alabai and the comb works well for them. Im not sure how people really rate a comb, but it removes hair efficiently when it is needed. My pups only really shed twice a year so it is not needed often but they see I wouldnt be able to tell you if this is premium quality or if there are better combs out there but for a few 200+ pound pups it gets the job done quickly and efficiently Until We Meet Again -Off the Grid Ken

These are quality brushes and work well. Easy to use and work as intended. Good price for a good product. Everything arrived in good condition and works great.

The metal comb from this set is the one I mainly use for my Maine Coon cats with long hair. It reaches the undercoat and gets rid of loose fur. If I use it every day, it prevents mats from forming. I like the comfortable grip on the comb. I dont like the deshedding tool very much. It can ruin your pets coat if you dont use it right. It cuts off the fur, not just the loose ones. The blades are sharp on the inside and can cause cuts if youre not careful. I personally think only professionals should use deshedding tools like this. I only use it when theres a mat that I cant remove any other way. Otherwise, I keep it put away so no one in my family will use it on the cats by mistake. But even though I feel that way, both of the tools are well-made for the reasonable price. I would recommend just getting the comb and leaving out the deshedding tool. The tools are not of professional quality, but they are not expensive either.
