It would be a great toy, except...

My dog can easily open it and get to the treat immediately. It is a sturdy toy, but unfortunately, she can open it so she is not occupied for more than a couple of minutes.

kept dog busy and entertained

got this for the aussie shep mix... shes been super whiny lately and i think its out of boredom.. filled this with dog safe cookie (dont worry its an actual cookie you can buy at walmart made just for dogs) and a few other lil small treats.. gave it to her and it kept her busy for a good half an hour to an hour.. she does get a lil mad at it bc shes got to work for it but that of course is the point.. and it helps cure the boredom.. havent tried it with the molds yet.. but will do that soon.. just got to wait for our store to restock the yogurt so we can try some yogurt and sunbutter in the mold and give it to her.

Frozen fun and frustration

I recently tested this toy on a high-energy Lab mix. The concept of freezing treats inside is fantastic. I filled the included tray with pumpkin and popped it in the freezer. Once frozen, the treat ball kept my furry friend entertained for a good thirty minutes. He was determined to extract every last bit of pumpkin, and thankfully, there was no mess. However, the toy's durability is questionable. While this lab was initially focused on the frozen treat, he quickly discovered that the top could be easily dislodged during playtime. In fact, he simply played with the top as if it were a separate toy. Overall, the toy shows promise as a treat dispenser, but its durability could be improved.

HOMIGIFTY Dog Interactive Toys for Boredom

This was an excellent addition to our collection of mental stimulation toys for our pup. It takes her anywhere from 20 mins to an hour to finish and she loves the holder as a toy on it's own as well. The frozen pieces are slightly smaller than I expected, but work great. I also sometimes will put in a frozen hard boiled egg in and it fits perfectly and that will keep my pup occupied for at least 30-45 minutes and has taken her up to 2 hours on and off to finish.

Cool Dog Toy

Our dogs love this toy. Love how you can twist it open and put the treats inside, close it back up easily and now you've got a toy that will entertain for hours. Its well made, not that cheap rubber that starts to fall apart after its been chewed on a few times. Definitely worth the price.
