These lights are brighter than expected. The diffused light helps my dog see on dark country nights. Makes spotting the dog easier, especially when paired with her multicolor LED collar. Easy to charge and operate. The caribiner makes them easy to hang on collars and they are ultra light weight. I put both on the dogs collar and while they don't point straight in front they do angle forward without ever turning around. The illuminated area in front of the dog is about fifteen feet. I have the Pup Light 2 which is much heavier and bulky. It does position and throw light farther but is not rechargeable and is very thirsty for battery. Doesn't take long for those to dim. That's why these lights are replacing it!

I love that this is rechargeable. The light is VERY bright. I can look out the window overlooking our property and tell exactly where my dog is at night. I don't like that it takes 3 clicks to turn it off. Can't get my dog to sit still long enough sometimes. He's a handful.

The media could not be loaded. For a compact, rechargeable light, I am very impressed with this product. I have utilized similar products that have not compared at all to this one. First, the clip provides a nice secure attachment, and does not come off. I clipped them to the dogs harness, and they have stayed secure since I put them there. We use these lights every single. Second, the light is very bright and stable. You are able to dim the light or even utilize the red light function for different needs. Third, the charge on this light last for about five hours like I said we use this every single night and I usually charge them about once a week or so. Fourth, the light is super simple to charge and comes with a charging cable that you simply plug into any USB port. The only negative that I have found to this product is the cover, for the charging port, could be a little more sturdy as all of the lights that I utilize no longer have covers on the charging ports. This has not been a problem at all with bad weather and moisture getting inside, but it probably could be improved upon. Overall great product and quality for the price. I would definitely buy again or recommend to a friend.

I've been using these for over 6 months now and they have been great! I have a dark brown dog that disappears in shadows at dusk/dawn and of course is invisible at night. These lights are practically like an airport beacon! You'll see the light shining from around a corner before the dog even gets there. We have about 2 acres of woods behind our house and I can even see him from across the woods. I would just guess the light pattern is at least 8-10 feet wide and throws at least that far out in front of him. I have one of the red light up collars that I got years ago for walking at night but it is nothing compared to these. There are 3 modes, high/low in white light and flashing red. I typically only use the high or low white light mode and there's just enough difference to notice but not drastic. I haven't timed the battery life but I would say you could safely get 4-6 hours on a full charge with the high setting and at least 6-8 hours on low, probably more but thats a safe conservative estimate. You'll know when the battery is getting low too as it gets noticeably dimmer. I use them more in the winter obviously with the shorter daylight hours and they've been used mornings for 30-60 minutes at a time and maybe 5-10 minutes in the evening when he goes out before bed. Once one starts getting dim I plug it in and just use the other one till it's time to recharge it. He's ran and chased/played with our other dog many times and they've held up fine but recently he squeezed himself under a spot in the fence that I'm surprised he didn't get stuck under, and the wire must have caught on the hook and broke it. The light was laying on the ground and still had the spring clip intact but the plastic top hook broke and so far I haven't been able to find it, very bummed about that. Thankfully I still have the other one. I would highly recommend these for walking at night or if you have a dog that's hard to spot out in the yard after dark!
