One of my dogs hate getting his teeth cleaned so I did want to try this product just for that reason. The sleeve is a lot longer than I expected and has a somewhat decent scrubbing action. It doesnt slip on your fingers, very easy to use, and it smells great. Prolonging brushing can cause plaque buildup, which this product might not work for, but definitely helps freshen breath and prevent more buildup. I noticed the yellow and some debris get caught in the wipes to let me know this actually works for what it is. Good amount of wipes in the container for the price. Theyre a lot thicker and doest fray in their mouths either. Recommend for small dog owners and we all know those little dogs have the worst cases of plaque buildup and bad breath.

These tooth wipes come in a foil-sealed plastic jar and arrive slightly moistened, but the instructions indicate that you should moisten your finger before putting these wipes on, which does make the wipe more moist. These wipes will not fit large fingers. I have relatively small hands and thin fingers and I was just able to get these wipes onto my index finger. Because theyre made of what looks like the same material, albeit thinner, as a baby wipe, they wont really stretch to fit larger fingers. On the plus side, the relatively snug fit of these wipes makes it less likely that your dog will manage to get one of these off of your finger during cleaning it and swallow it. My dog loves all things paper and Im pretty sure hed eat these if one got loose in his mouth. These wipes are available in either chicken, mint or unflavored. My dog likes chicken, so I got the chicken-flavored wipes. I put one on my finger and let him sniff it, but he wasnt interested. It took me a few times doing this to get him used to the idea that I was going into his mouth with the wipe on my finger. I also cheated a bit and put some of his chicken-flavored doggy toothpaste (which he loves) on the wipe to give the idea that this was for tooth cleaning. That done, these wipes are good enough to remove soft, daily build up on my dogs teeth and help freshen his breath. These wipes are not very abrasive, which is good for being gentle on teeth and gums but also means you will not be removing any hardened build up from teeth. Being wipes, theyre just meant for one-time use each and I found that using two was generally required for my larger dog to avoid having the wipes begin to shed fiber. I think toothbrushes and even the silicone fingertip tooth scrubbers are better for cleaning, but these are convenient for quick touch ups in between or to take with you when dealing with a toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. would be inconvenient.

I like how these are easier to use than traditional pet toothbrushes. My dogs move a lot when I try to brush their teeth, so I feel like I can't even reach certain places in their mouth. With these, they are not too uncomfortable and I can use this little finger brush to reach all parts of their mouth. Even if it doesn't get the little crevices, I feel like I can clean their teeth better overall. Also, gross stuff comes off their teeth onto the glove, so it visually helps me see that it works a little better. The mint scent is not strong, but it helps their breath a little.
