I sat on the fence about this purchase for awhile. I had purchased so many things in a short time frame and couldn't justify it. Looking back, I really wish I'd gotten it sooner. My pup absolutely loves this ball! I purchased the large, 8" ball. It has green straps all around it with one slightly longer black strap. I'm pretty sure the black one is for me to grab and throw it, but my pup seems to really like that one too! It comes with a small, hand air pump that only takes less than a minute to fill. This is a great size for him, he is about 60# @ 4 1/2 months and should be able to enjoy this for years to come. It's easy clean up from mud slobber, or something worse. Hose it off or use a mild soapy water with a quick rinse. This is NOT a chew toy. Do not leave your pet unattended with it they will chew at the straps. They are durable, yes, but can be removed if chewing with puppy teeth or any teeth for that matter. Buy it, play with your pet, this is a great interactive toy, not a ball to just throw in the back yard and forget it. Enjoy time with your pet, make it count!

I purchased the large size 3 for my 7 month old dog per weight guidelines, since hed outgrown the medium I originally bought months prior. But while playing with him in the very first week, he jumped to grab the tab & the ball popped. This was our favorite mode of play & ONLY did so outside maybe 10-15 minutes in the evening time a few days during the first week, while never allowing it to be a chew toy or left out indoors. I just wish it had lasted because he really did love the ball. Edited to add: Seller promptly responded & kindly made this right by quickly issuing a refund. Impeccable customer service & for this, I have changed my review to 5-Stars. I have already re-purchased from this seller & am happy with the new product received thus far.

Well this is a review for the 2nd one of these I received. The 1st one had been returned due to missing the pump, and then being able to appear inflated when I pulled it apart, only to (unsurprisingly) deflate when squeezed with my hands. So when I got the replacement that had a pump I was excited, my dogs love the bigger one, but it is too big for my puppy who loves it. My disappointment set in when I inflated it with the pump and thought I might have a problem, only to have one of my bigger dogs, who is not a heavy chewer to grab it and it deflated. I was looking forward to playing with the puppy with a soccer type ball that she could grab and run around with that was still too large for my bigger dogs to choke on. Overall just disappointed, even if the dogs can grab it and carry it around.

I just have to share how much my furry friend absolutely loves playing with herding balls! I've tried so many flimsy ones in the past, but I was thrilled to find a much tougher ball with tabs. My dog Beau has always been a fan of Qdans smaller balls, so when they created a bigger one, I couldn't wait for my dog to try it. I just knew it would last so much longer than those regular herding balls with fragile covers. I do have to give a word of caution, though - if your dog is a chewer, don't leave the ball alone with them, as the tabs can be chewed off quite quickly. Without the tabs, the ball could be in danger of popping if the dog starts to aggressively bite it. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase, but I do have one complaint - one of the seams was weak around a tab, and it led to the destruction of the ball. Despite that, it's been an amazing toy, and my dog enjoyed it so much that I will buy him another one when I can afford it.

One of our Corgis absolutely loved the first one we got. Played with it non-stop. We ordered a second but it doesnt hold air, it leaks out the valve. Didnt realize it until we were past the return window, so if you buy one, you might check for that right away. We keep pumping it up and he still loves it, but I know he will chew through it eventually.
