PROS: Has multiple installation options. Nice style, looks good. Hydraulic feature helps prevent damage to the door if opened hard. (I have kids, so this is inevitable.) Includes handware (but see below). Advertises as capable of holding up CONS: The provided drywall anchors aren't a great kind. I used my self-drilling ones. Does not include screws that work with wood studs, in case your chosen location has a stud behind one or both mounting holes. Mine did not include instructions. Looks like those are on the listing (I just don't usually consult listings when installing stuff during renovations.) So I didn't realize the gold piece is an "expansion screw" and would've been so much better and easier. Also note the listing video does not show how to use the expansion screw for mounting / installing, but the pictures show enough I think to show how to install. I'd recommend checking the listing for install!

I'm using this as a door stop and coat hanger behind my office door. When I received the item, it appeared to be used; the rubber tip had rough edges and stains on it. Out of the box, I was impressed with the build quality, and it seems like it should be able to hold a coat and possibly a light bag if mounted into a stud. The piston is slow but always responsive. The finish looks clean and is better looking than the spring-type door stoppers. However, I wouldnt use this in an area with high foot traffic, as someone could accidentally kick it and rip out a piece of the baseboard or wall. This should be expected with any door stopper of this type. Additionally, the metal plate is very sharp, and someone could cut themselves trying to pull it out of the box. I didn't receive a set of instructions, but I was able to make it work for my needs without them. It comes with all the materials you need for installation, but you may want longer screws if you plan to use this to hang items. PROS: - Strong and able to hold a decent amount of weight if mounted into a stud. Longer screws are needed to reach the stud. - Well-built and durable. - Besides the cheap-looking rubber tip, it is attractive and better than the old-fashioned spring-type door stopper. - Effective as a coat holder, although the rubber tip falls off easily (adding glue can prevent this). CONS: - Some of the materials are sharp. The metal circular plate could cut your fingers when taking it out of the box.

I ordered this spring hydraulic door stop from FCXIUY because its headline and info offered 3 different installation methods. That would be great if everything was included as stated. You can see my comparison pictures of what I was supposed to get and what I actually received are quite different. What I received is only for one type of installation and even that is incomplete as there was no hardware included. Its unfortunate because the door stop itself is very sturdy and seems durable. But this is a total lack of quality control at the most basic level (not including all parts as promised) makes the whole item suspect to me.

This door stopper is easy to install and works well. Installation can be done either by screwing it to the door, or simply by sticking it on using the included double-sided tape that comes with it. What's really nice is that it's a little over 4 inches long, so that it can keep the door from hitting a towel rack on the wall. And because it's hydraulic, it won't break a wall tile if pushed too hard.

It seems like this door stop is very ridged. It does have a little hydraulic give to it but it stops the door hard. I dont think I like this over the spring door stops. It doesnt move when Im cleaning so I end up mopping around it. As a door stop goesit stops the door and saves your walls. Its just not my preference.
