This worked way better than I thought they would. Very easy to use and can be place anywhere I'm you need them. Definitely great aoundbandbso far no issues.

My 120-decibel door alarm is at least twice as loud. would never scare anyone, probably wouldn't here it outside.

These are powered by two AAA batteries (not included) and they come with double sided tape patches to attach them to a door or window, etc. In fact, because they are magnetically linked, they can be used in many ways which are not described. For example a jewelry box linked to a vanity top. They are simple to use and attach. The alarm is fairly loud but not something that can be heard over a long distance. In fact mostly only can be heard in the same room as the door or window is located in my opinion. They are inexpensive and a lot better than nothing but they do not really provide anything more than a local announcement of an open door or window. That said, If you are on a tight budget, these little units will provide a modicum of security, especially in a small home or RV. And, as noted above, they can be used in other ways. I think they are a pretty good deal and a reasonable value for the dollar.

Im reviewing the set of 6. * Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Good value for the quantity and quality. -6 window or door alarms are included. (In this variation.) -Can be used on a door or a window. -Peel and stick installation, no hardware needed. Both the alarm and sensor install easily and stay up without falling off, the adhesive on the peel and stick is strong. (Install it on the device first, leave the backing paper on the other side, then remove it immediately before you install it.) -Loud alarm 110 dB. -Can be turned off or on with the button on the side. -Battery operated (2 AAA batteries), uses standard, common batteries. (Not included.) -Have a flashing light bar in the enter. -Alarm size: 3.54 inches tall, 1.46 inches wide, 0.75 inches deep. -Sensor size: 1.85 inches tall, 0.71 inches wide. -Will alert if the door or window is opened and the sensors move 0.59 inches apart. (It will not alert if it is opened under 0.59 inches between the alarm and the sensor.) -Instructions included. * Cons-what I didnt like and what didnt work well: -It may be a little too easy for someone to silence it by removing the batteries or turning it off on the side button, as Ill describe below. It may not be as secure as some alarm devices due to this. -The 2 AAA batteries for each one were not included, youll need to provide your own batteries. -There is only one volume setting, its not adjustable. * Tips & Thoughts: -You wont be able to link this with WiFi to Alexa or any home or security apps, it doesnt have that capability. -You dont have to have the sensor touching fully, but close to the alarm as the instructions and pictures show. If there is some very small gap, thats okay. -I found it was best to put the main alarm on the door or window first and the sensor next to it on the door or window frame. I installed the main sensor first, then the smaller sensor next to it. -You may want to print, save or refer to the listing pictures for installation and use instructions. -If someone did enter and want to stop the alarm, it would be easy to do so fairly quickly by using the side button or removing the batteries from the battery compartment. You would hear it, but it would be easy for someone to silence within a few seconds. If this is an issue for you, youll want one with a battery compartment that has hardware on it requiring a screwdriver vs standard open like this one thats easy to remove the batteries. -These look to be for indoor not outdoor use.

The Hiixhc Door Window Alarm has some positives, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations at all. On the plus side, the alarm is small and should blend in nicely with any style of door or window. Its also very easy to assemble, requiring only two AAA batteries, which is convenient. However, the main issue is the sound level. The ad claims the alarm is loud at 110DB, but I found it to be nowhere near loud enough. This is a significant drawback, as the primary purpose of an alarm is to alert you effectively. I am a light sleeper, but I know I would sleep through this alarm being triggered unless it was in the room with me. They are great for alerting you if you are nearby and awake. So, I would not recommend them for security purposes, but I could see them being used for alerting you if someone went into the refrigerator, or if a kid walked outside without permission, stuff like that. So, the lack of adequate volume makes this product fall short of what I believe is its intended function of alerting you to an intrusion. Two stars.
