Works fine. I can afford something bigger but these speakers do have some power. It is not about the money. I got 2 of these to use as a bluetooth pair. I bought them because I was attracted to how small they are. They are not really tiny size but they are small. Looking at the speaker ad, I estimated I could fit 1 speaker on each side of my wind breaker jacket, and maybe other jackets, and listen to some nice music without having to be seen with headphones, and without 1 or 2 bigger and more bulky items. If this was a review about a speaker for $120, then I would say it isn't totally worth it, but I would be happy to pay up to $50 each for 2 of these because of the remote technology it has. It sounds like a powerful clock radio to me. I am not replacing my big wired home speakers with these small rechargeable speakers, but the wireless is nice especially when hitting trails or finding a path for biking/jogging/walking/skating. I don't mind having a wire hanging out when I have headphones, but I usually do not use headphones in public. These wireless light weight speakers I can use to make being in public more fun, and not have to look like a silent person all the time. It helps me be noticed to use something like this instead of headphones. It really broadcasts sound without being like a totally obvious and in your face portable boom box; E-GO III is more concealable. I do not know how long the speakers can play for me after a charge, but hopefully the battery will last through all of my outside time. I could even get creative and play music if a park was vacant, without having to have any big setup or without having to keep a car turned on. I don't get very good bass but I would not expect that from small speakers. All of the songs I play don't need a subwoofer. The DOSS pair combined with "Surfans F20 HiFi MP3 Player" on Bluetooth" batteries last so long it seems like I never have to stop listening to music. I have ended up falling asleep with the music on and recharging is nearly as easy as walking naked in a comfortable warm breeze would be.
