Update: all the below is true, however, I found that it isn't long enough to hold the camera monitor when stuck to the windshield. You need a longer extension to prevent the monitor from hitting the windshield. It also does not stick to leather dash boards. I was able to find a spot on my center console that works. I was looking for something solid that would hold this https://a.co/d/cY1moUZ and not have to worry about it breaking and dropping the monitor. It fits the groove in the back of the monitor. Since this is all metal and has great suction, it is a great purchase. I bought one for the truck and one for the boat. Now I can easily move the monitor from one to the other. The also have a nut and rubber gasket on the back to prevent things from slipping off. That keeps it stabile too.

Worked great! I have bought some cheap suction cup items for holding phones, and some of those didn't stay stuck the greatest. I was hopeful this would stick well and not drop my monitor on my dash while driving. IT DID AWESOME! It never came off the windshield!
