Not a D&D player but enjoyed this puzzle. Comes with an instruction booklet that includes a storyline, and each part of the journey is the next section of the puzzle. Each section comes in a separate bag with a 7th mystery bag to swap out specific pieces. A few pieces were bent or starting to fray, however the images were still great and this made for a fun weekend activity. Bought a 2nd copy to give as a gift.

Such a fun puzzle! It comes in 7 separate bags, with 6 being individual puzzles that can slide together and make one large puzzle. There is a story element to it in which the story will prompt which bag to complete next as it progresses. You do not need to know anything about D&D to enjoy this puzzle. The images are nice with a cartoonish chaotic image in a similar vein to Magic Puzzles or Odd Pieces. The last bag also has some interchangeable pieces to show a change in the scene. While this one isn't as bright and colorful, it was just as fun and not as difficult as I expected. It was nice to be able to knock out a bag/section at a time and kept things more manageable. I hope more companies do a similar set up like this. As far as quality. It was good but not perfect. They had nice thick pieces (think also Magic Puzzles or a bit thinner than a ravensburger). However, there were a few that look like they are starting to fray and maybe two where the image peeled up on a knob. Not a big issue as the images were very clear and it was a blast to put together. I wish this wasn't specifically marketed as a D&D item. It limits the customer base and I don't think alot of people will pick it up since the cover doesn't explain it well. The cover also has an image of a creature covering the actual puzzle design. It is really the puzzle design that makes this puzzle shine and it is a shame that it isn't the main image on the cover or the listing. I had skipped past this puzzle many times and only on a whim decided to even look at the listing. I hope others, whether or not they like or participate in D&D, to pick this one up.
