I do medical transcription from home but sometimes have to go to various offices as well. I needed a backup pair of ear buds to keep on hand in case my good ones fail. These are satisfactory. I can hear with them although the quality is just okay, but for the price it is of a reasonable. However, they are a bit sharp and rough in the ears. I had my husband test them to make sure it wasn't just me, and he said they need to be sanded or somehow smoothed over because yes, they are sharp and prickly. I am keeping them for the purposed intended -- emergency ear buds. However, I would not order them again.

I ordered these because I though the listing said they could be used with ZeeBooth devices which, unfortunately is not true. They were packaged nicely, and they appear to be a quality product, thus the 5* rating. I though the $10.00 price tag was reasonable IF you know what you are buying and what devices they are compatible with.

The one good feature of these really cheap feeling headphones is the mic/volume control. The center switch for pause/play is recessed from the volume controls so is easy to feel. The controls work reliably. However, the cords of the headphones are so cheap feeling, they will easily tangle and it's hard to imagine they will last long. Note that I've used the headphones for about one hour total before writing this review. An observation in case you have a preference: The earbuds are the fixed type, not ones with customizable size attachments.

On first use, I thought these were of Apple quality. But as I continued using them, there was static. It could be eliminated by adjusting the cord, but it happens occasionally. Not bad quality for the price, but don't expect the same quality as the name brand. However, this is a good option for corded headphones on a budget.
