Or at least they don't hurt. I got these because they are recommended to always be used when installing NVMe M.2 ssd cards into enclosures. There is an air gap between the ssd chips and the enclosure wall which impedes heat flow. This can cause a build-up of heat inside the enclosure which ultimately fries the chips. The pasty stuff these things are made of is a good conductor of heat so it allows the heat to be efficiently transferred to the wall of the case from which it can then be dissipated. Some ssd chips generate a lot of heat and these things are the difference between a good ssd and a dead ssd. Some older design ssd chips don't generate as much heat and may or may not need these things for survival. But to be safe, we use them. It's a good habit to have. So all the above is good theory and good practice. I used these thermal pads on two ssd installations in the last week. Both are still operating fine and are only slightly warm to the touch while under load. At a price of only about 20 cents per pad, that is pretty cheap insurance.

I was a little confused at first since the packaging had other products displayed, but it is the right product. The size appears to be accurate and they seem to be decent thermal pads. I'm using with SSDs so I don't need a ton of performance.

Good price work fine just wish it had a couple of sizes instead of just the same square over and over but that's why its so cheap.

I have several Argon One Raspberry Pi 4 cases and I love them. Trouble is that when you remove the RPI from the case, the gray thermal pad often tears. This yellow thermal pad kit is a perfect replacement for the original pads supplied with the case. The size and thickness of the pads appears to be identical to the original pads. I don't know about the thermal performance but it certainly seems to perform just as well, if not better, than the original ones. When searching for the pads, other than the size/thickness, I was looking at the W/mk value specified. These pads are listed as having 3 W/mk which was higher, therefore better, than the few other alternatives I found. I am very happy with my purchase!
