Echo too heavy for stand to support

Had to return item because it would not support our echo dot. It was too heavy to say in outlet. Not worth it falling out of the socket so we sent it back.

Great if you have kids

We have at least one Echo in each area of the house; the Dot lives in the basement where the kids' play room is located. We've had a problem with the kids treating the Dot like a mobile music player, removing it from it's designated location and toting around wherever. There are a few outlets near the ceiling (for a wall mounted TV and cable box, which we don't have), so I bought this and installed the Dot up there. Now it stays in one place, plus the kids love the fact that it looks like a toilet. As long as your outlets are tight, this will have no problem staying put.

Mount up

I've used a shower speaker for years, and it's worked okay. Not stellar by any means, but I wanted something that projected clear sound and thought about my echo. Given that it would be in a bathroom with the only outlets above the sink, I wanted a product that would keep the echo out of any errant water. This ez-fit Echo Dot Wall Mount Holder does the trick. Installing the echo on the wall mount is intuitive and the cord stays securely wrapped under the base. It is plastic and the echo is heavy so it is better to install in a tight outlet. The one I used allowed it to fit snugly, but if the outlet was loose, there is potential for it to fall out. I like it and was happy with the improved sound while in the shower. The fact that it looks like a toilet just makes it a bit amusing.

Works great when not a lot of pressure.

This is a pretty good product but if you push on the volume buttons too hard it will fly out of the outlet. Otherwise it is pretty good and holds the weight.

Too heavy for its own good

The product looks as described and the cord organizer on the bottom is helpful. However it is way too heavy and pulls itself out of the outlet. It has fallen once already.. if it falls again I will end up returning.
