I tried this product for a few weeks after ordering. It seems a lot thicker than normal floss. I'm not a fan of the thickness at all. Other than that it works as floss should.

Flossing is a critical part of my daily care and I find that the best floss is the one that you will use. There is nothing magical about floss itself. Using floss to get the gunk out from between your teeth IS magical. As floss, Ecofloss is a high quality product that is not better or worse than any quality floss: - it is neither too thick or too thin and slides comfortably between my teeth which have very tight contacts - it is not overly waxed, just enough to help it move smoothly but not so much that it doesnt pull out the bits - it has no taste, could not even detect any mint - it did break once, but floss will also break if it catches on something in your mouth which is what I think happened Its the companys sustainability focus that differentiates this floss and my 4 rating is based on this. You are the only one who can decide to make sustainability a factor in your buying decision. The floss is just fine.

Im vegan and do typically buy organic floss that may not be standard, so Im coming from that starting point. This floss is thinner than most of the flosses Ive used, which makes it more comfortable for me; but its also very strong and effective. I feel like it cleans really well, without needing to go over the same teeth more than once. I did have trouble opening it the first time, as the tab was a bit stuck and then ripped the underneath box where the cutting tool is. That wasnt great as I needed a tiny piece of tape to make it functional. Otherwise I love the paper, eco friendly packaging. The six pack is awesome since we have a larger family and Im more likely to buy something if I can give one to each kid without having to purchase multiple singles.

This floss comes in a cardboard box with (6) cardboard containers of 25 meters of floss each. The floss is made from bamboo which has been infused with active charcoal. Bamboo grows fast and is a very sustainable choice, environmentally speaking. Active charcoal is known to improve your oral biome, reduce acid in your mouth, prevent cavities and bad breath as well as whiten teeth. With these ingredients, I feel this is better than traditional floss in many ways. It is very strong, and thin enough to slide between teeth that are very close together. It tastes minty, with no taste from the charcoal. I love that there is no plastic packaging, only recyclable cardboard. I think it's a very good value for an environmentally-friendly product that works so well.
