Edens Shadow is an absolute gem! This has quickly become the most requested game by my 9-year-old son any time we have enough people to play. He used to request Werewolf but now this has taken over. The artwork is stunning and that alone makes this game standout, each card beautifully illustrates Biblical characters and themes. The gameplay is incredibly engaging, combining social inference (think Mafia or heads-up Seven up or Werewolf if youve ever played those), role playing, and bluffing, making it perfect for youth groups, family & friends gatherings, or really any game night where you have at least 7 players. I also like how you can play with up to 30 people, which again, makes it great for Youth Group gatherings or even any larger group. I love that the Christian theme adds a meaningful layer of fun and wholesome entertainment especially in the world we live in today, I dont think we could focus on Christ enough. The replay value is excellent because each new game you can either have different characters or at the very least each player is a different character. This keeps everyone engaged and involved and having fun. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone looking to enjoy a faith-based game that is fun, interactive, and highly replay able (looking at you Youth Leaders out there)!

This is an interesting-looking deduction game, similar to Werewolf or New Salem, only with a Christian theme. The card art is all very "Ooh, look at us, we're all very epic", but the card mechanics seem like fairly fun twists. As a note, this game expects you to do some very basic roleplay, as everyone gives character introductions at the start of the game, and certain character abilities will request that your character behave in certain ways, so this may be a little bit of a stretch for some people playing. I would also point out that the moderator should be familiar with all the cards, as Adam, Eve, and The Serpent do nothing unless all 3 are used during the game. As for where the problems start to happen, is that the rules are somewhat ambiguous in spots, and there is no easy way to resolve this. As someone who has played hundreds of tabletop games, my expectation is that I should be able to easily search up a video that explains the rules in detail, and shows actual gameplay, or at very minimum, find an updated PDF of the rules on their website. I wasn't able to find a single thing. I even went to the creator's website (Kahus of the Kingdom), and instead of a video on one of their games, I found a boilerplate Shopify "You can put a video here!" video, which is embarrassing for them, but not terribly helpful to me. The other lesser issue was that the game comes in a box with tabs at the top and bottom, which I hate, because they wear down and tear over time. Please switch to a two-piece box that just opens. My advice to the game designer would be that they could make things a lot easier just by dedicating a page in the rules to in-game definitions, such as "villagers", and "the corrupted".
