My granddaughter loves these binoculars. Her imagination is entertaining for all when she has these out. As far as the actual binoculars being used to bring things closer isnt great. Worth the money in my opinion.

Bought for my 6 year old grandson. He loves them and refuses to take them off! He finds them easy to use and likes looking out the window to see what he can see. It has a safety feature that breaks the neck strap loose, which is very useful. Its well-made and definitely appropriate for young kids.
