Full disclosure: I did not buy this from ZeeBooth, but rather purchased it from my local hobby store. I will be totally honest, I am a 28 year old man that bought this for myself and I was really excited to try something other than the wooden crafts and the eugy animals, both of which I love making. 1. I found the instructions a bit too vague at times, especially when it simply said, "valley fold" and "mountain fold." I'm new to origami and even though I had an idea of what it meant, I had to look it up. That brings me to my next critique.... 2. I think it would be fruitful to include QR codes that one can scan and be taken to the company's website or online video of assembly. Many people, including children, are visual learners. So when there's no further instruction besides, "mountain/valley fold" with zero visual indication within the instructions to actually fold it, the process becomes a bit confusing. Which leads me to my third critique... 3. I believe the instructions are a bit too small. I think the company could get away with providing 2 instruction cards which would allow them to ~double the size of the instructions overall. One additional instruction card wouldn't/shouldn't break their bank, so I think that's a missed opportunity. Lastly, I did have a bit of trouble at times so I could so children closer to the age of 7 struggling a bit, especially with the small and vague instructions, but overall it's not too difficult. Decent enough project with a cool end result, but I'm a bit disappointed. TLDR; instructions are small and vague. They could be improved by adding an additional sheet of instructions to double the size of the pictures while also giving more detail about the folds. Vagueness could be solved by providing online videos that show the construction, as some of us are visual learners that are hindered by the small instruction pictures. Fun project, but I don't think I will to out of my way to buy more. Eugy's may involve glue, but they're easy to assemble, include facts about the animals (making them educational), and have online video walkthroughs to help with any confusion. I'm more likely to return to those than I am to buy and make anymore Make bugs.

We bought this for our eight year old granddaughter. She was able to put most of it together by herself. It looked cool when it was finished and she loved it. It is made of durable material. The wings and head are hinged to be movable. I would purchase one of the bigger animals again. I also bought the praying mantis. The pieces were way too small and delicate for her to put together. My husband actually did the work. It did look cool when finished.

This 3-d puzzle kit is really cool to assemble. It is done by punching out these little paper pieces out of sheets, and sliding them together. No glue needed. The instructions are however a bit basic and my seven-year-old got a bit confused by some of the steps, and I had to help him finish it. I made a mistake half-way through and didn't notice until later, so I had to disassemble some of it and redo it the correct way. In spite of the slightly confusing instructions, this was easy to put together and we got it done in about an hour. I really like that it is articulated and it is wild to think that it is entirely made of paper. It was fun.

This 3-D snow owl is very cool gift for a craft loving person. Good for young teen and upwards for sure. It's essentially card board piece punch outs that can be assembled to some basic instructions. I would say to be careful with some of the punch-out pieces, just meaning don't try and force as some have some narrow pieces you want to be careful with. Assembly can be a bit challenging, some thought as to the instructions are written is required, but doable for sure, made it slightly more interesting to me. The wing and head can be moved post assembly, but do note that overall this isn't a super sturdy final piece, but that's entirely to be expected here, but just making a note that I had some pieces that just didn't want to stay and slowly fall away. The effort alone is fun and worth this low price for sure, will give a good chunk of fun crafting and building.

The cardboard used to make it looks high quality and durable, and the instructions were clear and concise. The result was also surprisingly big. Overall, a great product.
